[drabble] Mixed Feelings (tGE, gen, Mac and Ives)
Title: Mixed Feelings

Pairing: Ives and Mac friendship.
Disclaimer: They're mine? Sure, they're not. (And I don't own the line that disclaimer is stolen from, either - and if you have to ask, you need to watch the movie again)
Notes: If you look really closely, when Ives is being escorted to the cooler (the first time, after he blows a raspberry at von Luger), you see that Mac gives him a pat on the back as he's walking off. Also, right before the goons find Tom, Mac calls Ives "Piglet".
Mac isn't sure whether to be proud or to be annoyed, now. Two days that Piglet's been in the cooler and Mac misses being able to shoot the breeze with him.
On the other hand, knowing how Piglet got there - by being impudent towards the Kommandant - almost makes up for it. It's good that he's not afraid of the goons.
But he's annoyed that the man couldn't have waited at least a day to annoy von Luger. It'll be almost three weeks until he gets out, but Mac is still scanning crowds for a mop of red hair.
