Felt the need to rec a couple of fics out there for my slash-loving friends. And for myself, if I ever get the itch again.
As general disclaimer, I am not responsible for guaranteeing the kid-safeness of my recs, stories, thoughts, etc. I know what I am emotionally capable of handling, and I feel that putting a "please don't read this if you're under fifteen!" insults my intelligence and others' maturity. Ennis would wake in the light before dawn with a mass of dark mountains looming chilly before him and the earth as snug as a real bed, not wanting to disentangle himself from Jack’s warmth, and it was never just on account of the cold.
The thing I love about it is it's so very, very Proulx, so very in her style for BBM.

The first snow came on August 13, and that was too damn early, at least as far as Jack was concerned.
