[Bleach] Over-Sensitized (Tousen)
Mar. 12th, 2006 08:32 pmTitle: Over-Sensitized
Rating: PG-13 for single harsher sexually-derived word.
Fandom: Bleach
Characters: Tousen, Aizen/Ichimaru, assorted Arrancar. The Aizen/Ichimaru may seem somewhat out of place.
Warnings: Nothing much. Blood, sex, and violence alluded to. Some spoilers for the SS arc.
Disclaimer: Not mine. KT owns all.
Summary: Kaname has, unfortunately, a good sense of hearing.
It is of course somewhat unfortunate to have senses as strong as Kaname does, sometimes. He hears things he would rather not - the cries of the Arrancar fighting and tearing one another apart in their cruel search for strength and Aizen's approval, the sound of Ichimaru's laughter as he kills those who lose. Sometimes Kaname is - well, not shocked - brought to disapproval by his conferences with Aizen, when he knows by the scent of the room and the sound of ragged-harsh breathing, two sets, that although Aizen is speaking to Kaname he is fucking Ichimaru at the same time. But mostly, it is the sounds of death, of pain and blood and not-quite-human suffering.
Kaname is glad sometimes that he cannot see, for there have been times when those screams brought chills to his heart, made him doubt momentarily the rightness of his cause.
Those moments pass. The Arrancar, who would otherwise be mere Hollows, would have behaved thusly regardless of Aizen's presence. They are cruel to one another, but they are the method of Aizen's plan, and it is a good one, a just one that Kaname can trust and believe in.
He only wishes that his senses would not lead him into doubt.
