[FAKE Drabble]: Motivation

for scifiroots, in return for suggesting AFF for looking for Black Jewels fic. A FAKE (manga-verse) drabble, vaguely Dee/Ryo.

Disclaimer: Not mine. Sanami Matoh's. Also, they may be a tad OOC, but this is the first time I've written FAKE fic.


Motivation

It's not because Dee's a jerk that Bikky doesn't like him, though you gotta admit, Dee is a jerk. It's 'cause of the way Dee keeps pushing, always getting into Ryo's personal space, and what makes Ryo uncomfortable makes Bikky mad. Ryo's too good a guy to have some lech like Dee treating him like that.

Bikky knows what hard-to-get is. Ryo doesn't do hard-to-get. Ryo does 'too polite to tell Dee to stop touching him'. So Bikky does it for him, because if he doesn't, he's afraid Dee's gonna push too hard one day and Ryo's just gonna break.

FAKE is a seven-volume manga series about a couple of NYC cops named Dee and Ryo. Dee is bisexual, and within the frst fifty pages, is bent on convincing Ryo that he is too. Ryo eventually, after a disturbingly large number of the-lady-doth-protest-too-much scenes, does become involved with Dee. I thought FAKE was entertaining, but one of the things that really bugged me was that I felt Dee didn't respect Ryo enough and was pushing him too hard for sex.

Bikky is Ryo's ward. He's a bit of a degenerate, but his heart's in the right place.
