[drabble] Desperation (Great Escape, Danny/Willie)

Pairing: Danny/Willie. Remember how I said I'd write Roger/Mac or Hindley/Colin next? I didn't.
Disclaimer: Not mine, except the implication. And Willie actually does do something that makes Danny say "Don't do that!" but I didn't get a chance to see what it was, so I made it up.


Desperation

In the shadows between the huts, Willie starts to believe that Danny really will go wire-happy. It makes him desperate - desperate enough to push him against the hut wall and punch him in the jaw to distract him, desperate enough to attempt a placating half-caress along his hip even after Danny reverses their positions with an angry shove whose impact makes Willie's shoulders twinge. Desperate enough to ignore the snarled, "Don't do that."

Desperate enough to lower his voice in a whisper, putting all that fear into his words, into hoping Danny will wait for the tunnels – and him.
