Rating: R
Fandom: The Great Escape, the movie
Pairing: Louis Sedgwick/Eric Ashley-Pitt. Because I just like it.
Disclaimer: You think they’re mine? They’re not.
Warnings: He’s having sex while he thinks this. Does that count?
Notes: A companion fic to “Wonders/Imagines” from Sedgwick’s POV. If you haven’t read “Wonders/Imagines,” this is angst with a happy ending. If you have, it’s just flat-out depressing.

It’s these damn thin walls, spare and sparse because of Hendley’s wood-scrounging, that make Louis worry. He’s always a little afraid that the goons will catch them, will humiliate him and break Eric and then kill them both.

But more important than the worry is the knowledge that he is allowed to touch him like this, that Eric not only lets him but wants him to, and judging by the look on his face when Louis slides hands under his jacket, would probably be annoyed if he didn’t. Judging by the way he parts his lips when Louis kisses him, as well.

And Louis has accepted that Eric’s heart beats for England, that the only thing keeping him going is the thought of escaping and getting back to the Navy to fight. That’s all right, because at least in these moments, bodies pressed together in a haze of sex, Eric is more Louis’s than England’s.

What's the name of the book that you once lent me; it was about a girl dressing up as a guy to fight in a war. By TPratchett, and what is the Great Escape anyways?

The book to which you refer is entitled "Monstrous Regiment".

"The Great Escape" is a movie made in 1963 starring Steve McQueen, Richard Attenborough, and James Garner (three very big names of that era), as well as a number of other notable names (such as Charles Bronson, David McCallum, James Coburn, and James Donald). It's about a group of Allied air force officers in a WWII German POW camp who dig tunnels in the effort to escape. It's based on a true story, which was made into a book that is apparently a good read.
tGE is considered a very good movie on its own merits.

It's also ripped with homoerotic tension, if you choose to see it that way.
