Second period of day two of adverb clauses and since the end of break, and Roger's brain already feels fuzzy, too full of information and his thoughts slowed by sleep deprivation.

Rupert is of course bright and overly-intelligent, but the deep shadows beneath his eyes give away the lie, which is that RJ hasn't been getting enough sleep, either - if he's been getting any at all. Roger would feel pity for him, but really, they're all in the same boat.

"Since I'm sure you're completely bored, let's switch gears - that's a good idiomatic expression, if you will note that, let's switch gears and go to our folk tales - yes, Eric?"

"May I go to the nurse's office?"

"All right. Here, I'll write you a pass - "

Murmurs from the class as Eric stands, face blanching at the movement and -

Yeah, no wonder he doesn't look so hot, if the first thing he does is dart to the trash can and throw up. Roger looks away out of politeness, and catches Sandy grinning at him as Eric stands up again. Has only a moment to feel that maybe he should shut Sandy up, but -

"Jeez, Eric. I thought you knew enough to use protection," and everyone's laughing, even Eric himself.

"You know the baby's yours," is the slightly ironic answer, and it's all okay.

I'll work on Sandy, and I have written him, but tell me if I write something that he wouldn't say. Just 'cause I'm not positive. Bastard!Sandy always amuses me, 'cause in the movie, he's a pretty nice, upstanding guy. What did we do to him in the AU? AHAHAHA, we're so mean to him.

Sandy is perfectly upstanding. XD He's just not nice.
Also, I've had my Rationalization Generator on it, and so far it's contemplating the rationalisation that Mac is much more mature and understands the value of cooperation.
I mean, can you imagine the kinds of trouble Sandy would have at getting teacher recommendations for college? Besides from Herr V, obviously, because he's a good student in German. But science? Or, heaven forbid, journalism?
Furthermore, remember, Mac has presumably managed to get out his repressed violence as a pilot. Sandy...doesn't even have hockey anymore. O.o
