Title: Red-Handed
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Brokeback Mountain. Based on the moment in the movie where Ennis swears because he left his shirt up on the mountain, and Jack smiles in answer.
Pairing: You get three guesses, and the heterosexual ones don't count.
Disclaimer: The sheer coolness that is BBM belongs to: E. Annie Proulx, Ang Lee, Jake Gyllenhaal, Heath Ledger, and the various institutions and individuals to whom Brokeback Mountain was licensed or belongs, not to me.
Warning: SPOILERS. Major spoilers for a key to the end of the movie (and the story). Also, first-person POV, Jack Twist.
Notes: For
cbizkit, a little bit early, for Chanukah or Christmas, depending on her faith of choice.
Thinks he left that shirt up on Brokeback. Not gonna tell him anything else, not when I got nothin of him. Was easy to steal it from his bag, fingers catching on the cloth. I dint know what to do with it at first, couldn't just keep it, nobody keeps a bloody old shirt 'special when the blood's not his.
Knew what to do with it when I remembered the snow, cold 'til it all melted, making the ground wet. I tucked it warm inside mine, inside my shirt like he'd been inside me. Makes me smile when he cusses cause he thinks he left it in camp.

Date: 2005-12-25 06:24 pm (UTC)I actually didn't know that was Ennis's shirt, though! I thought it was Jack's. :P Of course, that's probably because I could hardly ever understand what Heath Ledger was saying...
So have you seen the movie yet?

Date: 2005-12-25 06:32 pm (UTC)It's more apparent in the story. =) What happens is that Jack steals Ennis's shirt and - well, it's kind of obvious now that you've read my fic. ^_^;;;
Yeah, I had trouble understanding Ledger too.
I've seen the first 50 minutes of the movie, but I'm going to go see the whole thing with a friend on the 2nd. I hope. =)
