[Bleach] Surprise Letters (13x8)
Apr. 26th, 2006 08:20 pmTitle: Surprise Letters
Rating: PG-13 for implications.
Fandom: Bleach
Pairing: Ukitake Jyuushirou/Kyouraku Shunsui
Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own these very cool manga characters.
Notes: This is an offshoot of a side comment from an RP session I had with Gali; the comment in question is here.
Summary: Shunsui leaves Jyuushirou notes.
He finds Shunsui's notes trapped between pages of reports or attached with pins to the lapels of his winter coats. They are always addressed, in hasty scrawl, to Jyuu-chan, which, if the handwriting did not tell him who had written them, would reveal their author.
He removes them from their hiding places, smiling despite himself at Shunsui's expert melodrama, and opens the envelopes, pulling out small scraps of paper covered in Shunsui's elegantly dishevelled scrawl. Shunsui does not practice calligraphy, but Jyuushirou thinks he could - though he's hardly an appropriate judge, given his bias. He has always preferred Shunsui's handwriting to his own, for all that his is notoriously more legible.
Though that might be a gift, rather than a curse, because if anyone were to read Shunsui's letters to him - well, it would hardly be scandal, because Jyuushirou is well aware that all of the Gotei 13 suspect anyway, but it would certainly be embarrassing, for him if not for Shunsui.
Shunsui's specialty is poetry. Lewd poetry. And although Jyuushirou loves him dearly, there are only so many requests he can fulfill in a day.
