Every person on your friends list gets to request a drabble (read drabble: 100 words exactly) from you. In return, they have to post this in their journal and write a drabble for you. Post all fandoms you're willing to write for. Your friends can pick a relationship, a story arc, a missing scene, or pretty much anything they want, unless the author has previously mentioned that they will not write it. (Rumours and Sights, 200 words of RenBya - I got excited)

Here is the story: Yonehire Kuren found a cave where she could practice her shikai, and she went there at least thrice a week until, midway through the year, she found that it was not exactly a secret place to spend time, though the blade marks along the walls should have told her that to begin with.

She walked in one day and found Abarai-taichou and Kuchiki-taichou arguing. Kuren thinks it was over a woman, but she isn't sure, and she was so frightened - their reiatsu nearly singed her skin - that she heard almost nothing from where she stood.

Here is the truth: Kuchiki Byakuya referred to Abarai-taichou as 'Abarai' one too many times during a meeting, and Abarai-taichou, afterwards, demanded a fight in the cave on the borders of Seireitei. Met him there, drew no sword - nor did Kuchiki-taichou, for that matter - and they watched each other, silent, until Byakuya stated, "The intention of your promotion was not to offend."

To which Renji answered, "You're an idiot," and allowed the girl in the cave entrance to think what she wanted from the remark, because Byakuya, after so long a separation, was sweeter than he had remembered.
