boyband fics are *scary*
I was referring more to the "popslash" genre of RPS - they generally ship American boy bands like 'Nsync and the Backstreet Boys (and the comment about "Lance" was an allusion to how one of the members of one of those two bands just came out as gay, thereby throwing the popslash fandom into collective paroxysms of glee). But it does sound like some boy band RPS would be very frightening.
