I was just struck, as a result of your idea, of young!troubled!Dumbledore finding out something similar - but of course in those days homosexuality wasn't okay in the Muggle world at all (I usually don't see the Wizarding world being open to queer sexualities). Whereas for Harry's generation, it's less of a Thing, because at least it isn't illegal anymore, regardless of individuals' opinions. Anyway that could be a source of personal comfort for young!Dumbledore. I feel like. Maybe. Or not.
they seem extremely surprised at their instant internet fame. It's a little meta how writing this (awesome) anonymous fic about BNFs made them a BNF.
